Who We Are

In formation since 1993, Phoenix Women’s Chorus is a a queer, treble-voiced GALA chorus welcoming women-identifying people, queer folks, trans and nonbinary singers, and allies. Through the power of music, we provide community-based cultural programs intended to empower women, to educate our communities regarding diversity, and to foster the elimination of prejudice and discrimination. We are a GALA chorus in Phoenix, Arizona.

Here to be heard.

We believe in the power of music to unite and create community. Our community continues because of our spirited members’ dedication to serving our community. From ensuring a safe space for all, to putting together amazing performances to uplift our audiences, to organizing community service events, these are just a few of those at the heart of the Phoenix Women’s Chorus.

Who We are

Our diverse chorus welcomes all women and represents wide ranges of age, voice types, and music expertise. As a proud member of the Gay and Lesbian Association of Choirs (GALA), we perform on national and international stages.

We contribute in a wide variety of community activities, such as festivals, charity events, ceremonies, and sporting events. Through this, we strive to build and strengthen a sisterhood community of like-minded women.
