Meet Haley Ritter, Interpreter

Many people ask Haley Ritter, "How can deaf people appreciate music is they can't hear it?" Her answer to this question is simple. "Just because a deaf person doesn't necessarily hear the music, it doesn't mean that they can't feel it!"

As someone with a tremendous passion for American Sign Language (ASL), music, and dance, this is where Haley comes in. The women of Phoenix Women's Chorus put so much life and passion into their songs, it is a perfect match for Haley. Haley simply takes the music form and transfers it into a visual, live piece of expression. Her goal is to paint a moving picture of the PWC music, which conveys the same spirit and elegance that flows from their beautiful voices.
